this week, we're hosting a diving course on how to monitor the rocky reefs in the area, and i've been absolutely dying to take a course in this for AGES aaaaaannnnnnnndddddddddd the night before it started i found out there was space and la jefa gave her permission and so hooray!!!
needless to say i am psyched to be in the course.
AND the whole thing is in spanish. and i'm holding my own - except that i'm not able to express my questions most of the time, but yea, i'm pretty pleased with the entire situation.
i FINALLY got to go diving today. two little short practice dives, but it felt so good to be in the water again.
i am happy.
